MULGOA QUARRIES

Mulgoa Quarries is a high-quality excavation company located in Sydney’s west that is proudly built on family history and legacy. The first truck in the original fleet featured Pantone’s iconic colour, ‘Mack Yellow’, which consequently became an integral part of the Mulgoa Quarries brand identity.

When designing for Mulgoa Quarries’ head office, subtle injections of ‘Mack Yellow’ have been scattered into the office design, as seen in the custom upholstery and various branding elements, which are further contrasted by dark feature joinery and timber flooring. These vibrant interior elements pay homage to the company’s origins and accentuate what the brand represents today.

Components of lush greenery have been implemented throughout the office space as seen surrounding workstations, desks, and meeting rooms. Biophilic design has been found to support cognitive function, physical health, and overall psychological well-being of those that are around it, so bringing the outside in was a no-brainer! As well as boosting employee’s mindsets and enhancing the positive nature of its new and improved workspace, this vegetation adds to the mindful layering of materials to create a striking, yet functional, execution of the design brief.
