LAING + SIMMONS

Laing+Simmons is an Australian real estate company that has office locations scattered all throughout the country. One of their newest locations resides within Penrith’s Caddens Corner shopping complex and is an embodiment of its iconic brand colours, blue and yellow, as well as its ethos as a professional and welcoming association.

One of the most fundamental and critical aspects of designing an office space is how impactful the guests’ first impression will be when they walk through the front door. To achieve this, the traditional Laing+Simmons branding has been assembled in a polished manner on the back wall, logo, and within the furniture of the adjoining conference room, solidifying a calming effect to new home buyers and vendors that pop by.

To keep the space light and airy, large floor to ceiling glass windows have been situated along the shopfront and as partitions to the conference room, offering a sense of transparency and fluidity within the interiors. Additional opulent lighting elements have been injected into the space to further engage with the interior aesthetic; reflective, playful pendant lights hang intricately above the conference room table and custom reception desk, as LED details highlight the reception desk’s sophisticated timber fluting and the veins of the natural marble countertop.
